BoardVitals developed a Risk Assessment tool within its platform to predict learners' risk levels per subject area. This tool categorizes learners as "High Risk," "Needs Improvement," or "On Track," helping them identify subjects they are most at risk of failing.

Approach & Methodology

• Data Analysis: Unidentifiable purchase data from learners and organizations between January 2017 to March 2023 was analyzed.
• AI Technology: A tree-based ensemble model predicts learners' risk levels, categorized into three risk categories based on predicted scores.
• Model Evaluation: The AI model was critically evaluated for accuracy, precision, and recall, ensuring unbiased results.

Results and Conclusion

The AI model demonstrated high accuracy in assessing learner risk, providing valuable insights for personalized learning strategies.
