Session title: Artificial Intelligence Pedagogy in Medical Education: Lessons Learned After a Decade

Anthony Chang, MD, MBA, MPH, is a pediatric cardiologist and Chief Medical Intelligence and Innovation Officer at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), a part of Rady Children’s Health. Dr. Chang is known for several innovations in pediatric cardiac care. Dr. Chang completed his Master of Science (MS) in Data Science with a sub-specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Stanford School of Medicine. He is the founder and Medical Director of the CHOC Sharon Disney Lund Medical Intelligence, Information, Investigation, and Innovation Institute, known as MI4. He is also the founder of the Alliance of Centers for AI in Medicine (ACAIM) and Pediatric Alliance of Centers for AI in Medicine (PCAIM), a group of nearly 100 hospitals from around the world focused in advancing AI in the healthcare setting. Dr. Chang also founded AIMed, American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM), and the Medical Intelligence Society (MIS).
