Children’s National Medical Center Washington DC Switches to MedHub

Ann Arbor, Michigan — Today, MedHub, Inc., concluded an agreement with The Children’s National Medical Center — Washington DC to deploy its enterprise residency management system across all residency and fellowship programs within Graduate Medical Education (GME). This agreement represents another switch from a competitor’s system to MedHub. Eleven of the last twelve MedHub contracts over the past 24 months have been switches from a competitor’s system to MedHub.

In the three months of 2012, MedHub has doubled its number of software developers and revenues and aggressively plans to hire throughout 2012 in advance or the company’s move to its new headquarters in the historic grain mill on Broad Street in Dexter, Michigan.

The MedHub system is an integrated web-based suite of modules developed to improve communication, information workflow and reporting for physician training and residency program accreditation and institutional billing and Medicare reimbursement. MedHub provides a diverse group of stakeholders, real-time access to critical information essential to the management of their respective specialized tasks. These include rotation and call schedules, procedure logging, conference management, duty hours documentation, licensure and institutional compliance management and much more.

MedHub replaces multiple databases and ad hoc processes with linear workflow centered a unified database. Stakeholders use MedHub to manage hundreds of tasks and activities that address three essential requirements:

1. Residency program accreditation
2. Physician training (residents, fellows and medical students)
3. Affiliated institutional billing & Medicare reimbursement
