Eglin Air Force Base selects MedHub

Ann Arbor, Michigan — MedHub, Inc., has been selected by Eglin Air Force Base in Eglin, Florida to deploy its enterprise residency management system at the base.

The MedHub system is an integrated web-based suite of modules developed to improve communication, information workflow and reporting for physician education and residency program accreditation.

The MedHub system provides diverse stakeholders real-time access to information essential to the management of their respective specialized tasks. Eglin AFB will use the MedHub the system to replace multiple databases and ad hoc processes with a single unified database to streamline workflow. MedHub error checks data input by users and manages the flow of information from stakeholder to stakeholder through logic-based alerts, reminders and milestones. Data managed by MedHub include: complex rotation and call schedules, faculty and resident demographics, resident evaluations, case logs/medical procedures, didactic conference management, resident duty hours and document management. Institutional data managed and processed by MedHub include: payroll/funding inputs, affiliated institutional billing, Medicare reimbursement, contracts, FTE calculations, and auditing functions.
