Medhub Release Notes | July 15, 2026 (Tentative)

Enhancements

[GME] Program Administrator, Faculty — Program Directors with access to “of faculty” evaluations can now view evaluations completed on Faculty-type Outside Evaluators. These evaluators appear under a new “Outside Evaluatee” sub-header in the Faculty dropdown on the Faculty Evaluations tab, and are included when selecting “(All Faculty).”

Updates

[GME/UME] All User Types — Fixed an error on the password recovery page caused by a character encoding mismatch. Account recovery via email now works as expected for all users.
[GME/UME] All User Types — Fixed a stability issue during multi-factor authentication (MFA) where submitting an invalid code or triggering rate-limiting could cause an error. The MFA login flow now remains stable
[GME/UME] All User Types — We’ve made improvements to how MedHub communicates with assistive technologies like screen readers, so users who rely on those tools will now receive clearer, more accurate information when navigating the platform
[GME/UME] All User Types — Implemented security enhancements to session management to protect against unauthorized cross-site actions, including improvements to the SSO login process to ensure users remain correctly authenticated.
[GME/UME] Program Admin, Student Admin, Course Coordinator, and GME Office — Fixed incorrect field mapping in the Ad-Hoc Faculty Demographics report. Clinical Interests and General Comments data now display in their correct respective columns.
[GME] GME Office — Fixed an error when submitting certain Program Level Agreement (PLA) requests with pending external responses. The system now correctly saves the form and sends reminder notifications to the institution’s default GME contact.
[GME] GME Office — Fixed a timeout issue preventing the full-institution Admin Program Contacts export from downloading. The execution limit has been increased to support large data sets.
[GME] Hospital Finance — Fixed IRIS 2.0 Pre-test SSN validation to correctly flag and reject invalid sequential patterns with leading zeros (e.g., 012345678), preventing invalid data from entering IRIS data sets and the Data Browser.
[UME] Student Administrator, Course Coordinator, Faculty — We strengthened access controls on advisor pages to ensure faculty can only view information for students explicitly assigned to them, providing an additional layer of protection for your student data
[UME] Student — Fixed the Supervisor Identification (SIS) request search so entering a full “First Last” name now reliably returns the correct faculty member instead of an overly broad list of unrelated results.

Enhancements

Work Hour Analytics Report
[GME] GME Office, Program Administrator, Faculty – Added the ability to export the full program report as a PDF from the Work Hours Analytics second-page view. The export includes program-level, schedule-level, PGY/client-level, and individual summary data with all trainee rows.

Updates

[GME] GME Office, Program Administrator, Faculty – Fixed an issue where the “Day Off” icon did not display on the trainee calendar when 0 hours were logged, causing those days to be excluded from the Days Off total. Days with 0 hours now correctly show the icon and count toward the total.

Medhub Release Notes | July 8, 2026

Enhancements

[UME] Student Administrator, Course Coordinator — Added a reset icon to the View Completed Evaluations list, enabling administrators to return a completed evaluation to “Partially Complete” status directly from list view. Reset behavior, including evaluator notifications and eligibility rules, remains unchanged.

Updates

[GME/UME] All User Types — Updated the mobile notification service to use modern authentication standards for iOS push notifications, improving reliability of evaluation alerts and other system notifications on mobile devices.
[GME/UME] All User Types — Fixed an issue where client forms embedded on public pages redirected users to a login page. These files are now accessible without login as intended.
[GME/UME] All User Types — Resolved an issue where a 500 error displayed when users attempted to input their username in non-Latin characters. Now the expected invalid username message displays as expected.
[GME/UME] Program Administrator, Faculty, Course Coordinator, Student Administrator – The “Report Type” dropdown on the Aggregate Evaluation Report page now correctly enables on page load when multiple items are pre-selected, removing the need to manually toggle selections first.
[GME] GME Office, Hospital Finance — Fixed a display issue on the Funding Budgets page where newly applicable funding sources did not appear until the list was manually reordered. All applicable funding sources now load correctly after program assignments are modified.
[GME] GME Office — Fixed an inconsistency on Approved Program Letter of Agreement (PLA) PDFs where a system-generated signature sometimes appeared for the final GME approval step. The final approval step no longer displays a stand-in signature, aligning PDF output with the standard workflow.
[GME] GME Office — Added a “(none)” option to the Cost Report dropdown during the final PLA approval step for new sites, preventing an unintended cost report from being auto-assigned when none is required.
[GME] Program Administrator — Fixed an issue where automated evaluations were generated for trainees who did not meet the “Minimum Shared Service Days for Delivery” threshold due to absences. Absence days (e.g., Vacation, Leave of Absence) are now correctly subtracted from total rotation length before evaluating the delivery threshold.

Enhancements

[GME/UME] All User Types — Password reset functionality is now available for test environments via a dedicated secure endpoint. Reset emails are clearly identified as originating from a test site, and all recovery links direct users back to the correct test environment.
[GME/UME] All User Types — The “Forgot Password” flow on test sites now delivers account recovery emails through a secure internal proxy. Emails are labeled as test-environment communications, preventing confusion with production accounts.
[UME] Course Coordinator — Course Coordinators can now track evaluation completion even without permission to view the evaluation content. These evaluations appear as read-only rows in “View Completed Evaluations” with tracking details such as date issued and completed.
[UME] Student Administrator, Course Coordinator — A new information icon in the “View Completed Evaluations” list displays delivery details for finished evaluations, including the delivery method and the user or rule that initiated the evaluation.
[GME/UME] Internal Users  — All test-site password reset attempts are now logged with recipient details, timestamps, and delivery status, giving Support teams full troubleshooting visibility.
[GME/UME] Internal Users — Support teams can now search for test-site password reset emails using existing email search tools. A new “TEST” server option has been added to the search interface for efficient troubleshooting.

Updates

[GME/UME] All Users Types — For Accessibility corrected missing form labels across multiple administrative and user pages, ensuring screen readers can accurately identify and describe input fields.
[GME/UME] All User Types — For Accessibility Red text elements across the platform—including “Draft” statuses, “Cancelled” calendar events, and required field indicators—now use a darker, high-contrast red to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast standards, improving visibility for all users.
[GME/UME] GME Office, Student Administrator, Program Administrator, Course Coordinator — For Accessibility fixed a color contrast issue on the “Define Headers” screen within evaluation scales. Header labels now display as white text on navy background for clear readability.
[GME/UME] GME Office, Student Administrator, Program Administrator, Course Coordinator — The Aggregate Evaluation Report preview now resolves correctly when selecting evaluation types such as Learning Portfolio. The preview returns a zero count when no data is available instead of spinning indefinitely or returning an error.
[GME/UME] GME Office — Accessing the Program List or a program that no longer exists (e.g., via an old bookmark) now displays a clear “record does not exist” message with support contact information instead of a system error.
[GME/UME] Faculty, Resident, Student — Evaluation submissions no longer fail when the person being evaluated is a faculty member recently converted from a resident profile. The Resident-to-Faculty Transition Wizard now creates complete accounts even if the original profile was missing a photo.
[GME] Program Administrator, Resident — Evaluations generated through RIS setups now correctly maintain anonymity for visiting or “released-in” residents. All evaluations under an anonymous service configuration remain anonymous regardless of the trainee’s home program.
[GME] Program Administrator — Resident Portfolio Dashboards now generate successfully for new trainees or those with very short training windows. A calculation error in Login Statistics that caused a server error with zero-week durations has been corrected.
[GME] GME Office — The Resident/Fellow Directory now loads successfully for users who previously filtered by multiple programs in Demographics. The directory safely defaults to the site’s default program in these scenarios.
[GME] GME Office, Hospital Finance — Hospital Finance users with “view-only” billing access can now view active billing reports but are prevented from generating, regenerating, or locking/unlocking billing figures.
[UME] Student Administrator, Course Coordinator, Faculty — Fixed an issue where the Ad Hoc Faculty Demographics report returned zero results for Course Coordinators when filtering by “Active Faculty Only.” The report now accurately includes the expected faculty.

[GME] GME Office, Program Administrator, Faculty – A new Actions menu is now available on the program-level row of the second page, providing quick access to export and communication options.

[GME] GME Office, Program Administrator, Faculty – Fixed an issue where schedule-level summary periods and day counts could change depending on the overall report date range when using the Work Hour Review Period calculation method. Summary periods are now consistent regardless of the selected date range.

Expiration dates for tracking modules (Certifications, Compliance, Tests, Immunizations, Licenses) are now correctly read and stored during bulk uploads.

[GME] GME Office — Fixed an issue where the Ad-hoc Resident Demographics report displayed blank or outdated program information for active trainees with multiple program histories. The report now correctly reflects the trainee’s current program and start date when using the “Active Only” filter.
[GME] Program Administrator — Corrected display errors on the Evaluation Forms Alerts page. The “Set Alerts by PGY Level” view now loads correctly, resolving a fatal error introduced in the previous release.
[GME] Hospital Finance — Improved performance for large IRIS 2.0 Data Download exports. Large CSV exports (500+ trainees) now process significantly faster using optimized bulk data handling, eliminating browser timeouts and “Service Unavailable” errors.
[GME] Hospital Finance — Enhanced error handling in IRIS 2.0 Post-Test validation. The Post-Test page now displays a clear validation message instead of an HTTP 500 error when encountering missing or invalid demographic data, allowing users to correct the issue directly.

[GME] GME Office, Program Administrator, Faculty – The exception message for 24+4 max-hour violations now dynamically reflects the actual merging scenario (continuous work, short-break concatenation, or manual merger).

Medhub Release Notes | June 10, 2026

Enhancements

[GME/UME] GME Office, Program Administrator, Student Administrator, Course Coordinator – Updated the procedures/appendProcedure API so that case log evaluations are generated for all roles enabled for verification (e.g., “Assisted”), not just the “Performed” role. This ensures evaluations are consistently delivered based on your program or clerkship settings.
[UME] Student Administrator, Course Coordinator – The student lookup API now returns all courses where a student is eligible to log procedures, including recently ended enrollments within the configured logging window. This makes it easier for interfaces to display the correct course options for procedure logging.

[GME] Program Administrator – Fixed an issue where QGenda-imported clinic assignments incorrectly pre-populated work hours on trainee timesheets, even when the “Pre-populate Clinic Hours” setting was disabled. The import process now correctly honors the program-level configuration.
[UME] Student Administrator, Course Coordinator – Fixed an issue where some outside faculty members were missing from the Aggregate Evaluation Report’s target list. All valid outside faculty — including those linked to child clerkships — now appear correctly.

[GME] GME Office, Residents — Resolved an issue in Credentials Monitoring so incoming residents are included in the monitored count
